FREE 15-MINUTE VIDEO TRAINING + COMPANION GUIDE
You know what to do. You’ve probably done it before. So why doesn’t it last?
You start with good intentions. For a while, things are going well. Then life changes, motivation fades, or something throws you off.
Before long, you’re trying to “get back on track” again.
This free training will help you understand why that keeps happening and where your healthy habits tend to break down.
You've decided to get healthier more times than you can count.
Sometimes it's a new eating plan. Sometimes it's getting back to the gym, walking every day, going to bed earlier, drinking more water, or finally making time to take care of yourself.
And you're not necessarily bad at it.
In fact, you may be really good at starting.
You make the plan. You buy what you need. You rearrange your schedule. You feel better. You start seeing progress.
Then real life gets involved.
A busy week throws off your routine. You don't sleep well. Someone in your family needs you. You travel. Work gets crazy. You miss a workout. You eat differently than you planned.
One choice becomes a few choices. A few days become a few weeks.
And eventually you're saying some version of: “I really need to get back on track.”
Again.
When healthy changes don't last, it's easy to assume the answer is another plan.
Maybe you need a better diet. A different workout. A new app.
More accountability. More motivation. More discipline.
But if you've already started over several times, there's something worth noticing:
You've probably already proven that you can make healthy choices.
The harder part has been making those choices part of a life that doesn't always cooperate with your plans.
That's a different problem.
And before you can understand what needs to change, it helps to understand where the process is breaking down in the first place.
That's what Why Do I Keep Starting Over? is designed to help you do.
Sometimes the trouble begins with the approach we choose. It works when we're highly motivated and life is cooperating, but becomes much harder to maintain under ordinary circumstances.
Sometimes the plan is perfectly reasonable. We know what we intended to do and genuinely want to do it. But when the moment comes, knowing and wanting don't always translate into doing.
Sometimes we're doing well until something changes. Travel, illness, work, family responsibilities, holidays, stress, or a different schedule disrupt the conditions that made our routine work.
And sometimes what derails us isn't the missed workout, unexpected meal, or difficult week. It's what happens afterward and how quickly one change in plans becomes another reason to start over.
These aren't four “types” of people. You may recognize yourself in several of them.
The goal of the training is to help you look at your own experience and begin to see where your pattern tends to break down.
I'm not going to give you a new diet to follow, a workout schedule to complete, or another list of habits you should be doing.
There's plenty of information available about what healthy living looks like.
Warrior Wellness starts from a different place.
Your health is part of the life you've been entrusted to steward. Caring for it matters, but that care has to happen in the middle of your actual life, with its responsibilities, relationships, limitations, changing seasons, hard days, and unexpected interruptions.
So this training starts before the next plan.
We'll slow down long enough to look at what's happened when you've tried before.
Not so you can beat yourself up over what went wrong.
So you can finally see the pattern clearly.
A short teaching that walks you through the four places healthy habits commonly break down and helps you begin identifying what may be happening in your own experience.
A workbook you can use while you watch, with checklists and reflection questions designed to help you connect what you're learning to the times you've tried to make healthy changes before.
By the end, you won't have another set of rules to follow. You'll have something more useful to begin with: a better understanding of why you keep finding yourself back at the beginning.
If you're tired of repeatedly deciding that it's time to “get back on track,” don't make another promise to yourself just yet.
Spend a few minutes understanding what has actually been happening.
